Stones of Envy

Stones of Envy

Blind eyes, stones of envy

  Planted beyond reach

 Quietly comes a gentle plea

A unburdened soul, I beseech

  Weeds of envy, within heart

 Roots deeply embedded

 Painfully they depart

 Envy, sorrowfully dreaded

Freedom, this we seek

Coming  from above

Imparted to the meek

God’s Love.
